Aura

Aura is a field of subtle, luminous radiation or light surrounding a person or object. This light can not be seen with the naked eye. Your Aura is associated with various personality traits that show up with the different color layers of the aura. It has also been described as a map of the thoughts and feelings surrounding a person...............

Disclaimer: I am not here to push ANY belief on you nor do I care what your belief is, we all are who we are......I am a Christian who also happens to believe in the "unknown" including mediums and so forth. I believe that our own free will can change the direction of anything that is told to us but I believe the world is far more complex than we realize and that everything fits in with my love for God. SO there you have it.........

So a few weekends ago my girlfriends and I were at a Spirit Fair (don't judge) and we had our Aura pictures taken and then decoded for us. We also had a few readings done that were crazy accurate but I wanted to share with you my Aura picture above. Can you see me? I am in the middle and if you hold the picture you can make out my face!  My other girlfriends pictures were COMPLETELY different, filled with blues, greens and more orange. How does this work? You just sit down and smile while this unusual camera takes your picture and what happened next was spot on..... This gentlemen began to explain my Aura (far far more complex than I can truly express to you, since I can't point to each part of the picture via this post) But here are the highlights that this stranger told me and were shockingly correct, very neat to hear things you may have thought about yourself being told to you by a stranger......

* My overall color scheme is very strong and very strongly shows to him that I am cheerful, happy and have a positive influence over others

* He said the dark red shows that when I love something....I REALLY really love it and I become passionate about it. He also said that I care so much about so much and those are great qualities!
**** I will say real quick that sometime ago I had some people tell me that EXACT quality of "being too passionate or caring too much" was a negative. But I never understood how some people would/could say that caring too much is negative? So when this gentlemen went on about how it was a positive quality it sometimes takes a outsider to get me back on track and for me to believe in myself again and that I posses positive qualities that can not be used against me.

* He sad that the red that is covering my mouth means that I am a great  communicator and that when I talk others listen and believe in what I say. (I think that plays into this blog)

* He said there are some light discrepancies that tell him I have Angels watching over me as well as a few spirits who watch over me (which by the way when I got a different reading that person said the exact same thing and I was told who the spirits were)

*He said the oranges show that I am creative and that is how I like to express myself. And that the yellow in the picture shows I am constantly learning about new things and that I want to expose myself to more than my everyday life allows.

* I will say he said I am controlling.....but not in a complete bad way but that I like to control situations, make things flow and I like to know what to expect......and I would say that is me. And that also when I don't love something I have a tendency to not care. I need to find more of a middle ground.

Over all this was SUCH a neat experience and to think that this person has never met me, I did not talk to him other than saying my name and all of this was picked up thru my Aura! Very cool!

Weird Wednesday....

So today instead of What I am Loving Wednesday I have decided to do a "Weird Wednesday" post.....why? Because! Actually there is a reason and stay with me here.......you know there are several "types" of blogs out there and some you read because their life seems so fabulous that you want to live thru them. Well, we all know that isn't me, no one is clamoring to have my life. But there are other blogs that you read because you can relate, reading them is like talking to an old friend.....and I hope that is what I am to you! We all know I am not afraid to share with you all unflattering things about myself, if you can't poke fun at yourself and talk frankly with your friends.......well, then that sucks! HA! So with all that being said I bring you......."Weird Wednesday"

So I have a bad destructive habit.........destructive to my face and my psyche!! Every night when I go get ready for bed and wash my face I pick my face to death. Even when there isn't anything to pick at I scour my face with a fine tooth comb and pick at my imperfections. Even worse every time I do this my mind reels......how so? I will think about problems, relive situations, dissect choices and make myself feel bad. It is truly this awful cycle of self loathing, picking at my face AND then I get mad at myself for doing it this hence the evil cycle continues. It is like during this 30minutes my mind runs away from me......I become a debbie downer times 10. Each night as I walk upstairs to get ready for bed I tell myself...not tonight, this isn't healthy I am not going to do it but as soon as I catch a glimpse of myself in that magnified mirror I am off and running (or that is what I should do, lol)! Sucks huh? It is so weird too, I swear my mind can bring up something that happened years ago and I will dissect it until I have beat myself up for like 30 minutes. Does anyone else have such a odd habit? Something you do, that you hate but you can't stop? I mean I guess I should be glad I don't do this everyday over say a gallon of ice cream?! (not funny I know) But if you think about it....it goes hand in hand for me.....I pick my face, pick my body apart and then my mind thinks awful things about myself. I sound like a teenager.....but I guess we don't outgrow everything?
Is it just me who has such a weirdly bad habit? Are you gonna let me hang out on the cliff alone? haha!
Well guys, sometimes it is nice to share! I hope I haven't scared anyone off.........I am only 1/2 as weird as I sound!

So, eh, speaking of tomato butts.....

Ok, since we are kinda on a roll here of things that "bug" me, I wanted to blog about the silly conversation me and my girlfriends at work talked about today. I told them about tomato butts and of course that opened up the "things our husbands do that bug"...............
So EVERY TIME my husband finishes a bottle like a water bottle or more specifically a 2 liter bottle of pop he does 1 of 2 things with it....
1. He will put the completely empty bottle back into the fridge so I will find it and throw it away
2. He will literally set it right ON TOP of the trash can as the bottle will magically open the lid and jump inside.
WHY?? When I ask him he will say "oh I put it there to remind me to throw it away" Are you kidding me! HAHA! It literally makes me want to grab the bottle and beat him with it! (no no, no hate mail readers... I do not beat the hubby)

So lucky Matt he may of been beat out by another friend at work named Lindsay.....her hubby leaves doors, drawers and cabinets OPEN! HA! She said she will come home and find weird cabinets open as if a ghost was living in her house! Cracks me up!

Men!!! Can't live with them and can't live without them! What does your hubby do? And if you are a male reader go ahead call out your wife!

I spell Tomatoe you spell Tomato

First of all how the heck do you spell tomato? (Talk amongst yourselves) Secondly, you know what I hate? Tomato butts!!! Yes, that weird knob left on the tomato that was once attached to the vine. I always discard this part when I cut up a fresh tomato, always...................

So why must they be included in everything else? I literally go thru each can of diced, stewed and roasted tomato's I use when cooking and pick out the "butts", it is gross. I mean at restaurants they leave them in salsa, sauces, burgers......could they not have taken the 5 seconds to cut it out?

Am I the only crazy person who this bothers so much? Does the cheese stand alone?

So I feel like I am more of a Taurus aka the Bull than I am the Aries, what is the Aries anyways? Here are some traits for my old Taurus sign.....

I have met my Doppelganger

So I met my Doppelganger/made a new friend at work yesterday! It was the weirdest thing so stay with me here!! Does she look like me? Kinda and today we showed up in the same outfit....jeans, 3 qrt length shirt and winter vest .......so funny!

Looks like both Matt (Matthew is his real name) and myself were tropical storms this year! Awe, I know how special....what does this mean? Absolutely nothing, but with most of the other names being more complex names it is kinda funny to see us both on here! Those Savage's sure are sizzlin..........

Cart Wars

Ok, do you ever have the same silly argument over and over and over? Well we do, we have this argument every Sunday morning at the grocery store.....what could we possibly have to argue about? The bill? Meals? Nope, Try again................
How to load the cart!

Yes you heard me we argue over the right way to load the cart...........

You see I don't like stacking things in the cart, everything has it's own space and I firmly believe the bottom of the cart is made for pet food, toilet paper and paper towels. Matt's argument is that when it is time to check out he doesn't like bending over to get things on the bottom. That is right that is his full argument! So each week I put things below and tell him I will bend over to grab when we check out but no we go back and forth. We are half joking but secretly we both want our way and it really bugs me!

Stage Fright, Act II

Remember last year when my husband and I went to participate in a TAPS Ghost Hunt event? Well the TAPS team featured on ScyFy's Ghost Hunters has a team in Oklahoma which is so cool! Last year at the Poncan Theater event I had so much fun that I am doing it again this year with two friends!!! The event is Saturday the 23 of October in Ponca City, Ok. (About 1 1/2 hours outside Okc) and there are still a few tickets available if anyone is interested!! Since you all already think I am weird....

Ok so your mind is probably too boggled by the picture above to ask what I am going to say! HA, but I went home for lunch today and I had something that is very normal to me but may not be to you. I had Ramen noodles for lunch yes....people outside of college do still eat them! But ever since I was little my mom and Oma would serve it along side a spoon of peanut butter. Yes, you heard me right.....what do I do with this spoon of peanut butter? Eat it up, yup just plain in between bites of ramen. It must be the oddest thing to everyone but to me it is normal! Who knew the perfect side dish to Ramen was a spoon of peanut butter!
