Holiday Bake Off!

As I am making this post I find myself getting a little more into the Holiday spirit and even more so do I find myself wanting to run to the kitchen and bake! I wanted to make this really easy for us and get all the baking recipes we need this year in one post!!! All of these are easy, shareable, kid friendly and delish! So lets dig in..........

No Bake Cookies with Nutella?? These would be a huge hit with, well........ anyone. These are on my "To Bake" list this year for sure!!! The recipe is HERE!

Christmas Crack is an easy recipe that starts with saltines and then it turns into something you can't get enough of........hence the name Christmas Crack! The recipe is HERE! Your family and friends will thank you!

5 Minute Bourbon Truffle Balls sounds amazing right??!! These would make a nice easy gift too, put these in a little box for a coworker, neighbor or the guy in your life!! You can get the recipe HERE!

This is a picture from one of my Christmas Pasts Baking escapades that my sister would help me with every year! The green bundle is one of my ALL time favorite easy Holiday recipes........ No Bake Holly Leaves! I found this recipe years ago on the Kraft website and you should add it to your bake list this year.......
No Bake Holly Leaves

Need1/3 cup butter or margarine
30 JET-PUFFED Marshmallows

1-1/2 tsp. green food coloring
3 cups corn flakes
2 Tbsp. cinnamon red hot candies 

Make It
MELT butter in large saucepan on low heat. Add marshmallows; cook and stir 3 to 4 min. or until melted. Stir in food coloring.

ADD cereal; stir to evenly coat. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-covered baking sheets sprayed lightly with cooking spray. Press candies into cereal mixture, flattening each mound slightly.

LET stand at room temperature 30 min. or until firm. ENJOY!

This is another recipe I got years ago from the Kraft website (you should check it out). This is homemade Thin Mints and I swear this incredibly easy recipe tastes almost like the Girl Scout version! These are a favorite around the Savage house and they will be a favorite in yours too!!!

Thanksgiving

I know Thanksgiving seems so far away but really it is right around the corner. Why am I talking Thanksgiving? Well a non-profit I love in OKC is the City Rescue Mission and they do a HUGE Thanksgiving Day meal for the homeless and for $1.77 you can feed someone. They are already planning and raising funds for this Thanksgiving and I want to tell you how you can help!

With Junior Hospitality Club this year I will be volunteering at the Mission in October and it is a wonderful place that houses, feeds, helps, teaches the homeless and gets them back on their feet! They do so much more to visit their website click HERE!
