What I Wore Lately....

Happy Hump Day friends!! I thought today I would share with you all What I Wore Lately!!!

First up this was my Valentines Date Night look!! I loved this fun tunic and I paired it with "faux" leather leggings from Nordstrom. I should of taken a better picture of my shoes.... next time! I had a complex when I came downstairs in this because Matt asked me if I was "Going to the club"! I didn't think it looked like that but men, I swear!

This was a last minute work outfit for Valentines week and I was surprised at how many compliments I got on my red skirt! So I will be wearing this again!

I had to share with you all my new purchase.... well it isn't new.... I was on the wait list since January for this collaboration between Kate Spade and New Balance.....and I LOVE them!!!

This was a fun look that I have worn before out to dinner, the dress is a tad short for me but it's a great excuse to wear these boots that I don't get to wear enough!

Working It Wednesday!

I hope everyone is having a fashionable Hump Day.....I know I am at least on this blog! I haven't been doing a good job of taking outfit pictures lately, sometimes I am just not in the mood and well, other days I hate what I am wearing! I swear you should have seen me last week having a morning melt down over socks.....we all do it, myself included. Today, I have a few outfits that I loved and want to share with you all!!

 I loved the color combo of Black, Mustard and Cream and I looked like such a secretary this day! ha! This cardigan is Target of course and you can get one HERE. I just might have to get a second color! The cute shirt underneath is a steal I got from Kohls for $5! I know, right???

 This outfit was inspired by my sister and her awesome style......including skinny cords rolled up with ankle boots! The boots are ...Target...what else? You can get them HERE! And of course, now they are on sale! My cords and top, which is green are Loft!

 These mid-calf boots with a bit of a bikers edge I got at TJ Maxx last year for like $12, and I LOVE them! I wasn't sure how to wear them last year but this year I am finding it to be easier! My flannel is Old Navy and is sold out sadly! BUT you HAVE to get my pants......they are a THICK denim skinny-leg-ish jean that is a pull on! And get this....the thick waist band sits right on my "pooch" to push it down. Target of course......See them HERE

 This is the top I blogged about a week ago or so from Kohls, it's Vera Wang. This was a easy top to just pull on over some bootleg black trousers from NY&CO.

Lastly this was my favorite outfit recently and I swear Target should pay me.......most of this is Target! The gingham shirt is Merona for Target and I think the mixing of the prints was pulled off pretty well! I have large calves and I can't wear knee boots but these mid-calf "Combat inspired" boots not only zip up the back but lace up as well!! I Loved them........you can see them HERE... they come in brown too!

Workin It Wednesday

I thought today I would share with you all some of my newest and favorite pieces for Fall!! I swear sometimes I just can't say NO....no more Nicole!!! But I am sharing my good finds with you so that must be counted as a public service, no?? HA, tell the hubby that one!

I love Vera Wang for Kohls, true I have to try on each piece in case it doesn't fit but when you find a gem.....it's exciting! I got this tunic and this will look so cute alone, with a cardigan, a blue jean jacket and/or a scarf! You can get yours HERE!

I am sure you have seen these on me many times thus far and it's because they rock! These are the JCrew Factory Emery Flats and they come in several colors! After about 1 week and I got these puppies broke in...they are like walking on air! And J Crew makes my favorite flats.....these will be in my closet for years!! Get yours HERE!

I needed a new Jean Jacket because my old one was too big (yay me) and I wasn't expecting to fall in love with one at Old Navy but I did! I love this...it is a great fit, color and it is very comfortable. If you ask me a jean jacket goes with everything!!!!!! See it HERE

I love Loft and I am also loving that Sweatshirts are having a moment, I know right? There is a much more expensive version of this grey one at J Crew but I am loving this one! Casual with just the right amount of sparkle....this will go with jeans and my dress pants to work! It's on sale too friends.....see HERE!

We all know I love a good stripe and this casual friday top is amazing...so much so that I went back to target to get a second color! You can't go wrong with this....dressing it up, down or even around the house and the best part??? The price.....it's $12!!!! Get you some HERE

Sizzlin "OxBlood" Style

If you haven't noticed "OxBlood" is everywhere for Fall and let me say first of all...I hate that word. To me it is a snazzy new way to call something Maroon which sounds much better for me! Anyhoo....today I thought I would show you 3 key pieces you could get and a few ways to style them!!!

 First up my Favorite work pants.....Ankle Pants and more specifically the 7th Ave Slim Ankle from NY& Company. I think you can wear these until it snows.....I highly doubt our ankles will be getting any frost bite inside of work! This top is from Loft, over the summer on sale but HERE is one similar from there! Mixing prints is HUGE.....so have fun with different scarfs....leopard would go great with this too!

 I have these pants in all 3 colors and the size is a smidgen big than from other places but I love there!!! See them HERE!

 So...we are back to mixing prints again and a lot of the magazines I have been seeing lately mix stripes and polka dots....so why not! The stripes are from JCrew last year and the polka dot is from Target! This one is no longer but you can see one similar from Target HERE! And I would recommend the leopard online (once again). Leopard is absolutely a neutral for me!

 Lastly for these pants I am showing you how versatile this color is......Nude goes so wonderful but also so does grey as well as navy! Those shoes are my favs and they are from JCrew Factory and you can see them HERE! And did I mention they are on SALE!!!!! If you are wanting a splurge J Crew and J crew Factory have the BEST dressy flats!

 Next up a jeans look.......this faux leather "Oxblood" moto jacket is from Forever 21for $18!!! And can I just say that the fact that XL is called Plus Size here irritates me! Ok, back on task...... The jacket is no longer available but here is all the Moto Jackets at F21 and you can get something like this anywhere! Jackets HERE!  I have paired this with the same shirt from above and a cute polka dot scarf from Target of course! See stripes and polka dots again folks!

 Next up....casual Friday-wear!!! The "beYOUtiful" tee is from Groopdealz and those divine shoes are Target once again!!! You could pair anything dressy or casual with a cute Moto jacket!!!!! For the record the jeans are the Skinny Jean from NY&Company....I only buy my pants there!

Lastly, this cute dress is from The Limited and I love it extra much because my family helped me pick it out when they were here! You can see the dress HERE! I love the idea of a mustard scarf for a pop of color or a maroon scarf for some color on color action! Also a blue jean jacket would be awesome over this!

Working It Wednesday

Hello fellow "cheap-a-nistas"...I think I just created a word! Word! Last week at work I was a walking bargain thru the halls at work and I am going to share with you my 2 favorite looks!!!

 The Black and White shirt above is from Target, it's Merona my favorite! Guess What? It is on sale for $10 online! I actually got it in store for $4.02, I know.....please be jelly!! This comes in print and solids....and this is the perfect layering shirt for work or weekend! I topped my $4 deal with a statement necklace (Coldwater Creek, yup really) and WHAM we have a easy, cheap work outfit! You can see this shirt at Target HERE!

 This outfit above reminded me of "Back to School" I felt like a pencil all day but I LOVED it! My shoes are Target 7 YEARS AGO! Can you believe it? True story. My dress has 3/4 sleeves and is Forever 21, plus size. Isn't it crazy that to find a XL in F21 which is probably a L everywhere else I have to buy in the Plus Size section? Hey, it's ok because they have the cutest dresses you can see HERE! No shame here!

Get excited!!! Leopard is always in style for me but this year it is everywhere! And get these while they are HOT (I did) these are on sale at Target for $9.98, yes that is right! What will I wear them with? This fall I will wear them with ankle jeans and any fall top or sweater. For work I think I will wear them with black ankle length dress pants and any top for a edgy/hip look! Get these HERE!

 We all know I am OBSESSED with stripes, I mean you can do anything with a striped shirt! This one if from Loft and the necklace I bought from Very Jane! AND...all day these jeans were too big! GO ME!

These are the shoes I have one from Target and you would NOT believe how amazingly comfy they are! I wear them to work with jeans, dresses, crops and I literally feel like I am in flats! These come in like 5 colors and guess what? They are on sale for $17!!!! They run true to size and you can check them out HERE! You will thank me later!

Workin' It Wednesday

 Happy Hump Day to Ya! I am writing this post on Sunday but already day dreaming of being 1/2 way thru the work week!

 I will say this outfit is kinda sad for me.....I wore those super cute tan(ish) ankle pants ONCE and they are now too big! I know I know that is great news but not for my wallet or my closet! They are from The Limited and they are no longer available but you can see what they have now HERE! The polka dot top is from Target and there is nothing wrong with a little summer scarf!

 This picture makes me look busty but it is what it is....huh?? Both the tank and cardigan are from Target and I am wearing Navy pants with them! The cardigan is on SALE, check it HERE! And of course some Stella and Dot jewels!! The bracelet is no longer available but their Fall collection just arrived check it out HERE!!!

Since the move I have become a  lover of Marshall's and for reasons just like the top above!! My friend Becky said it perfectly....she likes the polka dots for a change instead of my daily obsession with stripes!! Necklace is Stella and Dot and Target Shoes from last season!

 So this is what my closet and bathroom looks like by eh.........Tuesday! haha! I do pick out my outfits on Sunday but of course there are the days I put it on and HATE it.....so clothes are thrown around a smidgen! And the Raid is on the counter because we have ants (which blows)

And I clean it all up come Saturday and start all over Monday!

 Lastly this outfit was a hit at work and on instagram.......the 2 tops are both from Anthropology (last year) and all my jewelry is from Stella and Dot of course (I should sell this)! I loved this outfit and I will be recycling it for the 4th I am sure!
