Eek!!!

You are probably wondering what this creepy drawing that looks somewhat similar to the man-alien in Prometheus is doing on my blog.......and .....well......
After months I have been approved for Botox for Migraines due to the severity and frequency of mine. The picture above is all the injections sites. And yes, you are correct to remember my deathly fear of needles and I am very scared but I would do ANYTHING to feel better! Now that doesn't mean I won't cry but that is what it is.
It could take up to 9 months and 3 sessions to work but I pray pray this is what will help!I have even heard an inspirational story from someone I know who feels SO much better after his first round! (fingers crossed)

I go Tuesday, I have the afternoon off so after my 1:00pm appointment I can go home and calm down I am sure! And it is not at all suppose to make my face look different but I could be swollen for a few days which I am hoping not!
So keep me in your mind Tuesday and next weekend be on the look out for my post about the actual appointment! Eek!

Hiatus...

Hi Friends!!! I have to tell you that I am taking this week off.....not from work (Gosh, I wish) but from my blog. The reason sucks too.......... usually today (Sunday) I blog for the week but I am too sick. I have migraines all the time as we all know but this is day # 7 straight. I am at the end of my already very tattered rope. I have fallen into a hole......a hole of feeling so sick it is hard to get thru the work day but also a hole of sad thoughts. I would give anything, anything to be better. So all I am asking is for your prayers. My job is so very........umm.......miserable and feeling miserable on top of that is a nightmare for me. This coming Saturday we all have mandatory all day over time too.....so it is going to take a lot to get me thru this week.
Thank you all for understand and I will be back next weekend, just pray I find some relief and that it lasts.

Country Living

Did you know that Country Living Magazine puts on a few Fairs across the country each year? Well you should because it was AMAZING! There was a reason thousands of people were so excited to get inside, people even drove in from surrounding states for this event! This Fair was a combination of Crafts, DIY, Artisan Food, Antiques and Vintage items......and I fell in love! All I needed was more MONEY$$$!!!!  My friend at work Kylee got the tickets and invited me and we had the best time, truly a wonderful day....exhausting but so fun! The weather was 68, sunny and I could have only been happier if say my Mom was there! (She would have LOVED it)

 Uh, ya...so I really wanted one.........who can make these?? And yes, you could still open them up!

 I have never really been an antique person, like not pretend antiques place but these booths were the real deal and I now know what I have been missing out on!

Workin' it

I am so excited about Fall and I am extra excited about Fall Nails! Yes, I guess it doesn't take a lot to get me excited! I have been "pinning" up a storm for Fall and I thought I would share a few of my favorite nail ideas with you guys.............

Then this stacked "arm party" was a favorite of mine this past week.......That there watch friends was a whopping $11 thanks to Very Jane (HERE). The others are Stella and Dot but of course, I swear I need to sell it!

 I was so excited to truly wear my first Fall "colored" outfit last week to work! I LOVED it and I had it paired with navy ankle pants! The shirt is Target and you can get your own HERE! And in fact I just might need a second color!

 Speaking of Target, I wore this Polka Dot Target shirt last week and I was loving my "High/Low" baubles that I paired it with! The High is the Stella and Dot pendant and the low is the cute mixed metal from Charming Charlies!

Insidious Chapter 2

Matt and I rented the first Insidious at home a few years back when it came out and we enjoyed it. For me anytime there is a scary movie out that is PG-13 I get SOO excited! Why you ask? I am a baby, I love scary things but I can not deal with the blood and guts.....so this was perfect!

This movie picks up literally 20 minutes after the first one ends and this ties the two together in a perfectly creepy bow! We loved this one so much more than the first! This movie was smart, I love how the story unfolded and I love how it even left me thinking! There are a few "jumps and bumps" for sure but nothing you can't handle! Go check it out!!!!!

I will add that we saw this on Friday the 13th and then I had nightmares all night......yes, creepy

Let's play catch up.....

Hi Friends.....this is me at this moment, on Sunday sitting in my home office trying to play catch up! While I am trying to play catch up I thought we would catch up too!!!! And don't judge...who wears make-up on Sundays??? Not I said the fly. 

Weight Watchers!

I am still trucking..... about a week ago I hit 23 1/2 pounds lost and I wanted to wait until I have reached 25 pounds to celebrate with you all but then last week happened! Lately, my migraines are out of control and I have to focus on feeling ok instead of my weight. So I gained 1 1/2 back but this week I have really WW friendly meals lined up and I am feeling good about getting on it!

Back to Basics!

Yes, yes.....I still 100% plan to unroll a new blog series out called Back to Basics....getting YOU back in the kitchen, but bare with me. I have been discouraged lately because of not feeling well and at work they had me switch jobs with a co-worker of mine so I am just trying to stay afloat and learn an entirely different job. When I get home at night all I want to do is collapse, I have literally fallen off the face of the earth because I feel like I am treading water. But this shall pass and things will move forward very quickly, (I hope)

Matt AKA The Hubby!

Matt is still doing amazing with his new position and I could never travel like he does, it amazes me. He is pretty much gone every week M-F, so things are crazy here like always. We try to spend our time on the weekend relaxing and enjoying each others company but we also have to do things around the house and what not. You know how it is......but it is what it is! ha!

Well friends, how are you??? And all you bloggy friends out there I am so behind on everyones blogs, I feel lost and sad! ha, but really I just want to say HELLO to all of you guys out there!!!

This book has been sitting on my shelf begging to be read since March. When my bestie Becky was visiting we both snagged ourselves a copy at the cutest book store ever, ah....happy memories. Why did it take me so long?? I am not sure, I wasn't in the mood or something like that....stupid me! I LOVED this book! I will admit I wasn't instantly grabbed within say the first 40-50 pages but intrigued. I think I have some weird thing about books set in the UK....whatever. This book picks up steam and by page 51 I was hooked and completely attached to the characters lives. I thought about this book all day, picturing it in my head and I just couldn't wait to read it every night before bed. This book is witty, unexpected and it was a book that when I closed the last page.....I hugged the book. If your reader you understand. 

Guess what?? MGM just bought the rights to this movie and I picture....... I was thinking maybe Matt Bomer as Will or Hugh Dancy and possibly a Mila Kunis type for Lou or Emma Watson although she is a tad young. Anyhoo..... This book was a complete surprise and I loved it so much, you must read it!

United States Air Force Musuem

THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE MUSEUMnear Dayton, Ohio is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world. The Museum uses both chronological and subjective layouts to tell the exciting story of aviation development from the days of the Wright brothers at Kitty Hawk to the Space Age. Exhibits include over 200 aircraft and missiles, plus family oriented and historically interesting aeronautical displays. Over one and a half million visitors from around the world come to Ohio each year to tour this unique free attraction.

 My Dad is a private pilot and long before Matt and I moved to Ohio this was on his Bucket List! And since we were celebrating my Dads Birthday over Labor Day there could not be a more perfect time!

 This place is so impressive and when you first walk in to the first "gallery/hanger" it will leave you in awe.

 This plane below is the ACTUAL Doolittle plane (Pearl Harbor movie anyone?) and to be standing next to such an impressive piece of history, there are not many words that could describe it!

 We all had a wonderful time and we were so glad we go there when it opened because as we were leaving it was getting crazy which made it hard to see everything the way we wanted to.

 This museum also has a space collection like this one below from Apollo 15!

 During the Cold War exhibit you get to see an actual piece of the Berlin wall, this is just a history lovers dream!

 I loved seeing the small Holocaust gallery that you can see a portion of below, it is more of a memorial to all those who lost their lives.

 On our way back into Columbus we ended such a wonderful day with what else......Jeni's Ice Cream of course!
