I told you all last year that my In-Laws bought a mountain home and over this past year they have been fixing it up. This Spring Matt and I spent a day unpacking, moving and I got to decorate the house. It truly is finally a home away from home. I love going to Georgetown and meeting my In-Laws for a fun day in the mountains.
This was the first outing of the Kayaks, I was scared at first but it was so much fun! My MIL and I had a wonderful time. There is a large lake at the base of Georgetown but also a few smaller hidden lakes up on the Guenella Pass right by the house!
That afternoon while Matt was at work I went on a small hike with his family also, it was such an enjoyable day!
Over 4th of July Matt's best friend Willie and his family were renting a home in Breck which is only 30 minutes from Georgetown so we met there for lunch and to show them the house! 2 block from our house is Main Street and they just opened a new Brewery which is a huge hit with all our guests!
It is so nice and we are so thankful to Matt's parents for giving us all a place to share with friends and family! A few weeks ago we had some friends out for a day trip and it was truly the best day! We drove up to the hidden Clear Lake and we all took turns on the Kayak.

We took everyone on a small tour of town after lunch and we love that we can walk right out the front door and head anywhere we want to go!
This right here is a great group of friends, after spending sometime at the brewery we headed back to the house and we had a cookout! It was the first time I had cooked in the kitchen, having everyone there and cooking dinner together was great!
There will be SO many more memories to come over the years at this home and I hope that everyone will fall in love with Georgetown the way we all have!
