A LOT has happened this past week and all decisions were made in a crazy way.... which seems to be our "M.O." Matt has been in San Diego all week which is a 3 hour time difference from me, that was challenging to say the least. Matt moves next weekend and has no place to live.....after looking into Corporate House/Extended Stays and being horrified by the prices we changed plans. We decided that IF we found something for US to rent for the next year why not let Matt move in and take as much stuff from the house as he can. All I can say is that God answered our prayers and I have faith that it is meant to be because I found our home for the next year! EEKK
I am so proud of myself...This week while working I found a place, researched the area, contacted the Real Estate agent, negotiated prices WHICH I got lowered, turned in our application and GOT APPROVED! The Agent I worked with was amazing and our home for the next year is in Stapleton a newer suburb of Denver! Here is the home......the owner is moving out this weekend......
I thought it would be fun to live more "urban" in a beautiful Townhouse that seems to have a huge sense of community AND very animal friendly! Finding a place for 3 dogs isn't easy so this was meant to be when the owner saw that as a plus! She wanted animals but NO kids! hahaha! Perfect
This is the patio/side yard..... Yes, it is large enough for a table, grill and whatnot plus there is enough space for the boys to use the restroom! No, this isn't a yard but it is a year. NOW...... this home is 1 block away from Denver's Central Park, 2 Dog parks and countless other areas for us to take the dogs in our new neighborhood!
Look....I will have a cute porch swing! And this place is 2 bedrooms/ 2 1/2 baths which was SOOO important to me to ensure that our families could come and stay anytime!
Now.... I want to introduce you to our new neighborhood! Stapleton...............

I know it seems crazy to be signing a lease without actually seeing the place but we can't drop everything, fly to our new city and spend the time we would need! Don't worry though I have 2 friends who have been BEYOND helpful... my childhood friend Corie and my friend Marika (Marika Lorainne for you Okies who watched Channel 4) So I am very grateful for their advice and help! Thank You guys! I owe you dinner!
Now....... we have 1 week, while I am working full time to pack for Matt to move! We have to provide him with enough kitchen/bath/living stuff for him to live alone for a few months. I might be kinda stressed! (maybe) Then after I kick Matt out (ha) I HAVE to re-carpet our entire home before I put it on the market! *sigh*
Happy Weekend Friends!
