Are you all ready for a photo overload???? You betcha!!! This post is called Amanda Nicole because yup, that is both of our names but it is also Amanda's middle name! I think it means we were destined to be friends! Don't you? I have probably told you all before but Amanda was my pledge sister and we met when we moved into the Tri Delt house when she came to my room and asked to borrow an outfit! ha! And in the last.....wow...12 years we have been friends, room-mates and each others Maids-of-Honor! I was so glad to welcome her to Columbus!
On Halloween Matt was a lucky duck....he had TWO Birthday dates! Spooky Fun!

The three of us went downtown to eat at a nice steakhouse called Hyde Park and it was SOo good! The place was very sleek with red booths and funky chairs. We loved it! Cheers!

Thursday Amanda and I went shopping all day (go figure) and then that night Amanda was nice enough to get us tickets to see Dracula the ballet!! We loved every minute of it...........

Friday we set out early as I took Amanda to Amish Country....she loved it!! For lunch we ate at this super cute Swiss restaurant and of course we had the fresh Amish cheese fondu! Yumm...
She loved seeing the horse and buggies as much as I did, we both loved seeing all the farm houses and old barns! So much history and charm.
Friday night Matt and I took Amanda to her first eat in movie experience! What is not to love about a movie + food + drinks =FUN! ( I was starting to not feel well that night, boo)
We saw Flight and we all really enjoyed this movie but just so you know it really isn't about a flight. It is actually very depressing and the movie is solely about his characters struggle with alcholosism. Maybe a renter?
Saturday I woke up really sick, I think I had a bug or something but I didn't want to miss her last day so I sacked it up and went.........to the ZOO!!! I just had to make sure I wasn't far from a bathroom. (TMI?)
You know it.....of course we posed with the bronze animals! Amanda and I also bond over the fact that we both have 3+ animals whom we are So in love with!

We literally watched this baby elephant drag this stick around and play with it.....animals never cease to amaze me! I was in heaven!

I had so much fun showing Amanda around my new city and we were all like the 3 amigos! We dropped Amanda off at the airport Sunday morning and then we headed to the Broncos game!!! Stay tuned for that post!!!!!!! And yes, I am exhausted!
