Family came.......we went.......we conquered.......THE Thurman Burger!!!!!! Watch this.......
Yup, at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon we waited 1 1/2 HOURS to sink our teeth into this famous burger!
We were all surprisingly in great spirits considering it was hot and we all wanted to pass out from hunger! haha! Cheese......
When we finally made it into Thurman's we were amazed by the crazy decor and collection of dollar bills and benches with names carved into them!!! It looked like a dive bar that has never been cleaned but who would of thought that would be so cool and inviting??
Here is just ONE example of what the entire Cafe/Bar looks like!!! It is crazy! Apparently "Big Steve" has been here! bahahaa
Matty and I pre-burger!! And ya ya you know I attacked it with style. I swear if you come visit me I am taking you to this place....it is an experience you have to have! It is located on Thurman street in German Village outside of downtown Columbus!
We wanted to add our mark to the wall.......SO what else would we do but represent the OKC Thunder!!!!!!! Do you like my artwork??? I didn't know a sharpie was a must have at lunch so this took a smidge longer than I expected with a crappy pen!
And drumroll please.....................Behold the Thurman Burger.......ALL 3/4 pounds of it!
Yup.....this was the inside and I know I have a large mouth but there was NO way any of us could bite into this we had to fork and knife it! hahaha! And yes, there is something about it....it was too die for!
And here she is........taped EXTRA good!! So if you go to Thurman's look for my families $$$$!!! Fun Huh???
We had a great time during our 3 HOUR excursion to Thurman's and afterwards we did what anyone would do.....Headed to Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream (Oprah's favorite things) to gorge on dessert!
