Here is the master bath, I have never had anything this big or nice!!! Since the palette is black and white I decided to do something different and add green as the accent! We were going to take out the long mirror and add framed mirrors over each sink but I kinda like the long mirror.....we shall see!
We got paint samples yesterday and I am thinking a calming sage green for the walls!! That tub rocks.....Do you know I have not taken a bath in like 12 years? Tub/showers freak me out, I know I am a weirdo but they do. So now that I have a separate tub I can't wait to use it! The master closet, a linen closet, separate toilet and shower are also in this room!
Here is one side of our backyard and our new fence.....which will be stained in a few weeks! We have had some fence drama so we have 6 foot gaps at the back of each fence that wont be closed for a few weeks! Ugh! But it's me.....we can't expect things to go as planned can we?
Our new grill on the deck, which we have already used several times. It is nice having Matt home for dinner and manning the grill for me!! I am going to look for some cheap but nice patio furniture today...I think I found a nice set at Walmart!
Here is our living room currently, I am sure you remember it from our Okc house. We are looking at new furniture from Pottery Barn right now and when that (ever?) happens this whole red/black look will go into the basement perfectly! I am going to add a mirror over the mantle I think today! I want to bring in a more neutral couch with "Tuscan" colors like reds, oranges and all that.
Here is our eat in dining with the double patio doors that lead to the deck. This table was my first purchase when I was 23 and moving into my first solo apartment! Look how far they have made it, this is their 4th home!
Here are all the paint I am looking at......the reds for the formal dining, greens for the bathroom and the chocolate for the "powder room"!!! It is fun to look but painting to me is not so fun!
Here is the kitchen, I love that I have so much space.... it is night and day compared to the last kitchen! We are in the process of changing out all the floral hardware to stainless knobs and the back splash also has flowers and will one day be changed!!! AND.....almost forget....the hardwood will one day be in the kitchen also! I think the hardwood will make this kitchen look more contemporary and up to date. I mean it is newish and up to date but I think the tile makes it look older than it is. But eh, maybe that is just me!
This picture is kinda blurry...sorry! I love the window to look out while I cook it is so nice and open, I am still getting use to where everything is but it is just great!!
Here is our entry way and the stairs that lead up to the loft, 2 bedrooms and guest bath......Love the wide entry way...no more falling over the dogs!
Here is my office!! This room is in the front of the house and my window looks out over the yard which I love. I added some shelves and that cool wall mural (only $6) from the Container Store....which I LOVE!
Here is the drab formal dining......it is also in the front of the house across from the office and looks out over the yard as well. One day this will be hardwood, nice paint color and house some awesome dining room set. You see my old house only had a small nook for 4 people to eat in kitchen so I am thrilled that I actually have space to one day use to feed our family when they visit! I have wanted a formal dining room for years!
Here is the basement..........the terra cotta wine rack the previous owners made is kinda neat, the wet bar and mini fridge all work! I didn't like the wood but it is growing on me and when the furniture moves down here I think it will blend in and become a neutral backdrop! (I hope)??
So far we have a blow up bed my Father-in-Law slept in, the entertainment center, TV and surround sound hooked up. It will be a great hang out room one day!!! Behind the wall there is a 1/2 finished basement with a work bench, sink, HUGE storage area and it is so awesome....one of the best features! I will take pictures one day for you all!
Speaking of "Powder room"............Look at these walls!!! HAHA she liked to sponge I take it! Imagine this whole room (toilet is to the right) chocolate! Ceiling and everything.....I think it will make the white POP and give it the classic, clean and contemporary look I want! Thanks again to Pinterest!
Ok......my least favorite room, the master bedroom......eventually this queen set will go in the upstairs extra bedroom for a 2nd guest room so I am slow to decorate or love this room. How can anyone sleep in a Queen with a hubby who is 6'4"???? Good lord I can't wait for a bigger bed.....the cat hogs her share too so ya know!
Here is why.......I am not complaining but it is huge and to the left is still a dresser and TV. I mean you can't hang like 1 thing on that huge wall and it needs some color.....it has HUGE cathedral ceilings. So right now this room is for sleeping only because it is kinda depressing. When I get a new bedroom suite I might need your help..........??? what to do? paint color ideas?
Here is laundry room.......I love my new front loaders......these were on the floor at Home Depot and are "last years model" (who cares) and since they are also white we got them 2 for the price of 1! I mean sweet! Who would of thought that after so much time I would just be happy to do laundry again!
The deck once more! Our yard is HUGE and I am excited to have a nice deck, patio and yard to enjoy! ANd the dogs love it as you can imagine!
Here is our pond which is off the deck! I love it.....I am stressed that we aren't taking care of it right but the water, fish and scenery are very calming! My mom loved the pond when she was here also! It is filled with about a dozen Koi and goldfish! There is one HUGE Koi that looks like a tiger so I call him Perk! Yes, as in Perkins from my beloved Thunder! THUNDER UP!!!!!!!!
Here is our upstairs loft, this green furniture was Matt's before we married so we are using that and adding in touches of black to match the TV entertainment center! (ya, I know we like TV's)!!! This window looks out over the street and I love the space, it is almost as big as our living room. And this will be a great place for when we have guests!
Lastly I am only showing you ONE of the guest rooms which are chaos! Matt is using the guest room closets as his and he is in process of "organizing" haha! But my Mom slept here and loved it so we will clean it up and make it nice soon!
So guys....that is it.....that is our rough draft! Thank you so much for everyone's kind words while I was moving and thanks for staying with me.....I am excited to share my life with all of you and everyone back in Okc who I miss dearly!

Love love LOVE it! So when can I move it??
Thanks Nicole, for sharing the pictures of your new house!! It's so beautiful... love the kitchen and that nice tub!!
LOVE the new house! It's so beautiful! I'm sure all your personal touches will make it look even better! As for that huge master bedroom wall I LOVE the look of a gallery wall. We have one in our house and it really helps to add some texture, depth, and interest to a big wall like yours. Just a suggestion :)! I hope you're enjoying your new place and I'm glad y'all made it there safely! Can't wait to read all about your new adventure!!!
It's SO pretty!
Look what this person did to their bathroom mirror!

I love it and I know you are going to make it totally beautiful!
And your master bedroom is HUGE! I would be just as challenged with how to decorate it, but we can figure out something amazing!
Love the new house! You have so much space! can't wait to see what you do with it...I need some decorating ideas for mine so might steal some :)
The house is looking great! I think that gray for the master bedroom. Can't wait to see more!
Love the new place! Glad you finally got there and are able to start getting settled in.
Love it! Can't wait to see what all you do! :)
Love all the pics! You know, your master bedroom set is the exact same as our guest set (David's when we got married), haha! I know what you mean about the master bedroom dilemma, you need to just get a new set when you can afford it and then you can worry about decorating around your new furniture style (which will probably be something chocolate woodish judging from your current slant). :)
So jealous of your house! It's GORGEOUS.
